SNOW is a branch of the Inclusive Design Research Centre at OCAD University that focuses on Inclusive Education and Learning. Our goal is to provide information and training about technologies and inclusive practices both in and outside the classroom. SNOW is for educators, parents, guardians and students and our resources are free whenever possible. SNOW is committed to providing open source tools that can be adapted and used freely.
SNOW combines technology, community, accessible communication and capacity building to foster a collaborative approach that encourages a comprehensive model of education for all through:
- Innovative approaches to incorporating technology into teaching practices.
- Ideas on what to consider when planning and teaching for the diversity of learning needs in the classroom.
- Insights into how to work within the public school system to acquire the individualized services needed for all students.
